Belonging in Ritual is the digital resource portal supporting UK Jewish communities to create ritual, lifecycle moments, and communal practices that are inclusive of LGBT+ Jews and enable them to engage in Jewish tradition in a way that works for them. It brings together practical guidance, real-world examples, and reflective learning to help individuals, leaders and communities move from intention to action. Rooted in Jewish life and lived experience, the portal supports safer, more inclusive spaces across diverse traditions and settings.

Created by KeshetUK, we hope that this project will help LGBT+ Jewish individuals and communities to engage more in Jewish traditional practices and ritual, knowing that they are as much a part of the community as anyone else. We want to provide resources that are in- keeping with the KeshetUK mission of ensuring that nobody feels forced to choose between their LGBT+ and Jewish identities.

Whatever part of the community you engage with, be it Progressive, Masorti, Orthodox or non-denominational, we hope that this portal provides guidance and support for you to engage in Judaism in a way that works for you.

If you have taken a step back from Judaism and are looking to find your place, this portal may be useful in providing guidance and support.
