• A member of the Belonging in Ritual team will review your submission

• We may contact you to clarify, edit for length or clarity, or discuss safeguarding considerations

• Once approved, your contribution will be published on the portal

• We aim to respond within 10-14 working days with feedback, changes, questions, etc. and we aim to approve a final version within 28 working days following this.

Please note that we may not accept all submissions to the portal and there are some items that we will not publish. All submissions go through an evaluation and quality-check process to ensure that resources are suitable, accessible, and in line with KeshetUK’s vision, and the purpose of Belonging in Ritual.

We welcome:

• Reflections on experiences of ritual, lifecycle moments, or communal practice

• Stories from professional, voluntary, or lived perspectives

• Learning drawn from practice, challenges, or change over time

• Contributions from LGBT+ Jews and from allies working in Jewish spaces

We are particularly interested in contributions that focus on inclusion, safety, wellbeing, and belonging in real community contexts.

To keep the portal safe, useful, and focused, we do not publish:

• Prescriptive “how-to” guides or templates (these belong in the Resource Library)

• Content that identifies individuals without consent

• Material that is discriminatory, inflammatory, or unsafe

• Contributions that are potentially and purposefully divisive in nature or are not in line with our mission and vision

• Detailed accounts of harm that may be distressing without appropriate framing

You can choose how you are credited, including using your name, role, organisation, or remaining anonymous. All contributions are published with consent and may be lightly edited to ensure clarity, safety, and alignment with our values.
