So what can I do?
In 2023 we had more requests for support from KeshetUK than ever before. So please join our team of volunteers ensuring that no one is forced to choose between their LGBT+ and Jewish identity.
We are reliant on our wonderful volunteers to deliver education and training and support with some of our operations and admin. So whether you want to support our work directly with young people, get involved in fundraising or offer any other specific skills, we'd love to hear from you.
If you've got skills that aren't mentioned here that you think would add value to KeshetUK - please email us on [email protected].

"It has been a rewarding and educational experience volunteering with KeshetUK. Giving me a chance to contribute to both the Jewish and LGBT+ communities. The working conditions are great and a big thank you to the staff for the training provided and their continued hard work."
"As a KeshetUK volunteer I have gained more knowledge about the breadth of the LGBT+ community and gained confident working with teenagers and in school settings. It's an incredibly rewarding volunteer role."

Emma Grant
Emma grew up in Brighton and believes her hometown helped inform her strong beliefs of equality. She has a background in informal education, volunteer coordination, and ceramic art. Since having her children, she has been increasingly passionate about the gender inequality wider society shows towards all children. Emma defines as Modern Orthodox and believes that the Jewish community at large can do more to include LGBT+ communities. |
Jordan Jacobs
Jordan is a trainee solicitor at an international law firm. He was born and raised in London and has always been engaged with the Jewish community, whether that be through school, university or the University of Warwick Jewish society. Over the last few years he has been increasingly passionate about improving inclusion of LGBT+ Jews in the community, and believes the best way of achieving this is through volunteering his time with KeshetUK. By volunteering with KeshetUK, he hopes not only to make the community as inclusive as possible, but also to learn more about himself and the community. |
