Do you work in a Jewish school, youth or young adult organisation, synagogue or communal organisation and want training to ensure you're creating a safer and better space for LGBT+ people in your community? Then please be in touch with KeshetUK!
If you're looking for educational work shops for young people:
When training adults in schools, youth and young adult organisations, synagogues and communal organisations, Jewish communities are diverse and there is no single approach that will work for everyone. KeshetUK works in partnership with communities to identify their goals, then we tailor our support so they can achieve them.
KeshetUK has experience working with orthodox, reform, liberal, masorti and cross communal organisations - adapting our content to ensure it's appropriate for the communities we work with.
KeshetUK workshops use a mixture methods to understand how LGBT+ inclusion can work in Jewish communities. They are interactive and create a space where any question can be asked.

Testimonials
“UJIA has been privileged to work with and learn from KeshetUK this past year. Our religiously and culturally diverse team greatly benefited from a fantastic half day training session that improved our understanding of how the language we use is critical for everyone to feel equally welcome in our community as well as helping our staff become more sensitive to the challenges experienced by the LGBT community. We’ve also worked to integrate KeshetUK into our leadership training programmes for Israel Tour madrichim; all of the training creates a very safe space for everyone to ask questions and is delivered at an exceptionally high level.”
Mandie Winston, Chief Executive Officer, UJIA (2023) |
“ Over the last year we have consulted with KeshetUK’s leadership on a number of issues, and brought in their skilled educators to work with our team, including our Senior Leadership Team, in order to train and develop JW3 staff. Their non-judgemental approach and commitment both to best practice and to Jewish values and community has helped ensure JW3 can best serve the needs of the wider Jewish community in a more inclusive way.”
Raymond Simonson, CEO, JW3 (2021) |
"I’m very grateful for the training from KeshetUK carried out across Kisharon. The sessions were both enjoyable and educational. Dalia is a very approachable facilitator, and the sessions have definitely helped us in our aim of creating understanding and a pro-active, inclusive and welcoming environment for all – people we support, their families, employees."
Lee Zucker, Kisharon (2020) |
"The training we received from KeshetUK was invaluable to ensure members of the LGBT+ community feel welcome in our organisation. In recent years CST has engaged with more LGBT+ people than ever before and working with KeshetUK, we want to ensure this continues to grow. CST knows better than anyone what it’s like to be discriminated against, and we will stand shoulder to shoulder with everyone who wants to fight any form of discrimination. The training our staff received was not only informative, but allowed us to ensure our policies and procedures are appropriate for every member of the community. We will continue to engage with KeshetUK and wish them every success in the work they do."
Leesa Mather, HR Manager, CST (2019) |
