If you consider yourself Jewish and part of a family, whether you already have young children, are exploring options to become LGBTQQ parents, or are in any other constellation of Jewish LGBTQQ family, you are welcome at Imahot v’Avot events which tend to be Sunday social gatherings in child-friendly settings, including picnics in parks in good weather. Meet-ups are informal and involve lots of food - often celebrate things that are common ground such as Jewish festivals and London Pride.
For some, Imahot V’Avot is a relaxed way to meet other like-minded families and extend your social network. For others, it’s a resource to explore issues affecting your family knowing that someone else will ‘get it’, sharing experiences and discussing the paths we’ve all taken to become Jewish LGBTQQ families.
